As of 1 April 2015, all social care support workers will be expected to attain a Care Certificate within their first 12 weeks of employment.

The Care Certificate sets out the basic skills, knowledge and behaviours that are required to give safe, effective and compassionate care.

There are over 1.3 million healthcare assistants and social care support workers working in England. They play a vital role providing people with some of the most personal and fundamental support.

UKSLS will be issuing these Care Certificate work books as part of staff induction training to further our employees understanding of providing the highest quality of care and support.
